Corinna Allen
Lifestyle and entertainment reporter, Better Mornings on CBS 46
Age: 32
Originally From: Ashland, OR
Schools:
Santa Clara University, California
Why I am single:
In television, it’s all about moving. I have lived in four cities in ten years. Every time you move, you pull up and start over in a city you have never been to with people you don’t know.
Qualities I look for in a potential mate:
I’m from a big family, so I want someone who is used to the chaos, likes to be around people and who is on good terms with his family, because I think it’s a good indicator of his well-being. In my job, I’m the one running the show, and in my personal life, I have no desire to do that.
Where I go to meet people:
I have a very social job, so I’m fortunate to have met a lot of people in town. I go to a lot of events. One of my favorite places to frequent is 10 Degrees South.
Ideal Date:
A one-on-one where we could cut out the extraneous noise. I also love a good bottle of wine. It sets the pace for the evening.

Biding Closed
Final Date Bid: $ 1500

Recognizable from her on-camera work on Better Mornings, Corinna Allen is as equally vivacious behind the camera as she is in front of it. Allen lived in nearly a dozen cities before calling Atlanta home. Driven to succeed, Allen was candid about the trials of making it in the business. “I, by far, believe I made it this far based on persistence,” she says. “It’s not easy to move 10 times and to say goodbye to people over and over again–to make it to where I did wasn’t easy.” Despite many tribulations, Allen loves her job. “I get to do something different every day, and I meet fascinating people and get to help them tell their stories,” she says. Allen’s career certainly has taken her to new heights, whether it’s bungee jumping, flying in a fighter plane or crashing a hot air balloon. Allen also advocates using television “for a purpose” by helping those in need. Off camera, she shares the same sentiments–volunteering her time to support young women’s issues and leading by example for young women so they “live life based on choice and not circumstance.” Allen says her favorite thing to do is socialize in people’s homes, and she loves to cook. “I’m the happiest when there are a ton of people around my table,” she says. When it comes to the kind of man she is looking for, Allen puts it in her own terms: “There is a fuzzy and a techie. In my business, everyone is a fuzzy. I need a techie.”
