Most Eligible: DeAnna Pappas

We caught up with hometown girl DeAnna Pappas as she scripts her own storybook ending.

DeAnna Pappas, the lively brunette stunner who found her prince charming on The Bachelorette but lost her fairy-tale finish when the relationship ended six months after the conclusion of the show, still believes in love. So much so that she now helps promote weddings as the co-host of the Lifetime show Get Married with Colin Cowie.

Pappas, a self-proclaimed Southern belle, is a perfect fit for Get Married, since she’s chummy and sincerely interested in helping foster a lifetime of true love for those lucky enough to have found it. The informational but entertaining program has a corresponding Web site, getmarried.com, for which Pappas also doles out helpful information, blogs about a variety of wedding- related topics and interviews brides-tobe. Although she has an admirable level of “bounce-back” uncommon to most people, many viewers who initially found Pappas’ role on the show somewhat unlikely, given the circumstances surrounding her highly publicized breakup, now tune in regularly to watch the girl-next-door.

Although this Southern-bred beauty, who maintains her primary residence in Newnan, has eagerly embraced her bright future, she sat down with JEZ to talk about her past, her current and upcoming projects, and her favorite haunts in her beloved hometown.
